Since 1983, the MULTIFILM Group has been developing, producing and selling special sun and glare protection products for the energetic and ergonomic optimization of high-quality buildings. With the distribution of high-quality SECURFOL sun protection foils from the space travel 1983 everything started. Since 1993, MULTIFILM has also been producing special sun protection systems in Limbach - Oberfrohna based on specially developed multilayer films. Through a thermal surface embossing process and the subsequent patented MULTIWAVE pleating creates a special product that offers solutions for many heat and glare problems of private and commercial customers.

Mirrors in public spaces, such as sports facilities, swimming pools and lifts must comply with higher than ordinary glass safety and security requirements. The Secur 4 (50m) film is specially designed to be applied to the back of mirrors, providing protection by holding shattered glass in place in the event of an explosion, fire or impact.
